Butter smooth highways, gorgeously curved hairpin bends & twisties, surprisingly vibrant sceneries, cool hill stations, mesmerising backwaters and mouth-watering cuisine options, will leave you spellbound every moment of the tour. Nuances of the terrain, architecture, forest trails and the unexpected flavours of an everyday meal will bring on a whole new story of a land with a diverse & rich culture. At the end of the tour, we promise you that you will leave with a heavy heart and a lifetime of memories. Our tour starts in Mysore and covers several hill stations across the Nilgiris range, beautiful tea gardens and the breath taking backwaters and tranquil lakes . We will be traversing through three amazing states of Southern India - Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Join us on this spectacular tour that gives you a glimpse of a magical South.

Full Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Mysore : Your tour captain will be in the City of Palaces, ready to welcome and introduce you to your fellow riders. He will also brief you about how you’ll be spending the next 10 days on the tour. Day 2 Mysore to Ooty : We leave the Heritage City after an early breakfast and ride towards the city of Ooty. We continue on the Mysore Road for a few hours passing some quaint villages of Karnataka, before turning towards the national reserve forest of Bandipur. If we are lucky, we will have some sightings of our friends from the wild Right in the middle of the forest, we pass the check post and cross over to Tamil Nadu. Then, we start our ascent towards Ooty, the Queen of the Hills. The chill in the air and the beautiful vistas welcome us to the favorite hill station of the south. Day 3 Ooty to Valparai : The cool air changes as we climb down from the Nilgiris and ride towards Coimbatore. And after a great local meal at Pollachi, the flower capital of Tamil Nadu, We start our climb towards Valparai. Once we pass the Aliar Dam, a green carpet of tea plantations appears and becomes a great backdrop for our journey towards the small hill station in Valparai. The quaint accommodation at Valparai allows us to soak in the colonial legacy of this land. Day 4 Valparai - Exploration Day : You have the whole day to yourself to explore the many attractions of Valparai and catch some local delicacies at the various restaurant options that will be made available to you. Day 5 Valparai to Munnar : We ride down from the Anamalai hills down through the scenic road and turn towards Udumalai pettai. Passing some pretty villages we now move towards the heart of Annamalai sanctuary, the Amaravati Reserve forest. We reach the kerala check post to cross over to ‘God’s Own country’. The climb will be challenging yet scenic as we start our journey towards Munnar.After a short stop at Munnar town we start our journey through the tea plantations and mists towards Rajakkad where we will be resting our tired backs. Day 6 Munnar to Kumarakom : We start our descent towards the lower hills of the western ghats and finally come down to the plains within an hour of riding. Lush green vegetation and high humidity awaits us as we ride through narrow roads and busy towns of Kerala. After stopping for some tea and Pazham Pori in a typical Kerala tea stall we now reach the famous back waters of Kerala. As we ride along the shore we start seeing some unique sights of life on the back waters. We will finally reach our destination at the wonderful lake shore resort in Kumarakom. Day 7 Kumarakom - Exploration Day : Explore the back waters: The world favourite backwaters beacons us to explore them and chill. The tempting seafood and the local toddy is a must not miss list. Time stands still in this wonder of nature. Day 8 Kumarakom to Kodaikanal: An exciting day of riding awaits as we bid goodbye to the backwaters. We start our journey towards the beautiful Periyar National Park and climb towards Kumily. We cross into Tamilnadu again passing the Mulaperiyar Dam and the Kumily waterfalls. After passing Theni we start our ascent towards the Kodai hills. After negotiating hair pin bends after hairpin bends we finally reach the beautiful Kodaikanal where we rest for the night. Day 9 Kodaikanal to Karaikkudi: traveling from the lush hills of Kodaikanal, we descend into Dindigul, an ancient city in Tamil Nadu known for its fort, industries, and biryani. Continuing east across the plains, we reach Kanadukathan, a village in Chettinad famous for its unique architecture, grand mansions, and exceptional cuisine. Your evening culminates with a walk through town and an authentic Chettinad dinner in the Grand Chettinadu Mansion. You must try the authentic Chettinadu chicken curry! Day 10 Karaikkudi to Yercaud: Today we move from Karaikudi and ride to the heart of Tamil Nadu towards the northern part of the state. You can see the heartland of Tamil Nadu which is filled with paddy fields and other cultivation land. This probably will be the warmest day of riding as this area is quite warm throughout the year. We will see some wonderful coconut plantations and have savor the very unique red coconut water to keep ourselves cool. From Salem we turn towards Yercaud which is a hill station with beautiful winding roads to climb up. We stay at our resort in Yercaud surrounded by coffee plantations and a beautiful lake. Day 11 Yercaud to Bangalore: We leave early from Yercaud and pass Salem town towards the Tamil Nadu Karnataka border. The highway takes us through Dharmapuri and we stop for an early lunch at Murugan’s Idli Shop in Krishnagiri. We can bet that you haven’t had tastier idli before. With a full stomach, we ride into the city of Bangalore Day 12 Depart from Bangalore :Well, it’s time to see off your fellow riders who by the end of the tour become friends for life.Until we meet again on the next great adventure!

A valid license and IDP Full riding gear( full face helmets, jackets, pants, boots and gloves) for warm weather riding A down jacket for the cold nights in the mountains

Cancellation and Refund Policy

At the time of booking, we require a payment of USD 500. The remaining balance should be settled 90 days before the tour start date. Our cancellation policy is as follows: More than 90 days: No charge. You will receive a full refund of the advance payment. 90 60 days: 25% of the tour price will be charged as cancellation fees. 59 45 days: 50% of the tour price will be charged as cancellation fees. Less than 45 days: 100% of the tour price will be charged as cancellation fees, and no refund will be provided. However, if Goodwind Moto Tours cancels your tour for any unforeseen reason, you will receive a full refund of 100% of the amount you paid.
